The country setting 40FM
CEPT (this is the former
"CEPT" Setting) is
allowed in all countries at least for travellers. Except in Austria, there
it is absolutely forbidden to use a switchable radio. In Spain and Finland
travellers are allowed to use their switchable radio from their home country.
German travellers with 80 channel radios are allowed to use them (with
Circulation Card) in Belgium, Finland, France, Spain, Switzerland and
Liechtenstein on the international 40 channels.
